So you want to write your own original songs. However, the few attempts that you made does not go as you would have liked because the tune or the melody flowed not so well or were not catchy enough for people to enjoy.
So how can you write songs that People will like or will sing and hum as you run them? Well, brace yourself because one of the methods to write catchy and be quite controversial, but it does not work and just darn good!
Sometimes, when the original melody sounds good to someone, they also sounded like a another song. But you can not know what it looked like another song. There are vaguely familiar feeling that you've heard a similar sort of song before. Did you this feeling?
I am sure all of us have this feeling before and I can even dare say that this will happen again and again with other new songs. In fact, this unconscious feeling is quite common as after all, because every song is a little recycled tune given the limited number of rating music, chords and rhythms. So all new songs will somehow or another overlap other songs that are already in existence. Therefore, all songs will have parts of their similar tune with another song or even songs. Therefore, it is perfectly fine if some parties your song sounds like another song While you do not want it that way.
In fact, if your new song sounds familiar, that may be a good thing. Before to jump and shout copyright infringement, Please be aware that I do not mean to violate the copyright, other composer, I speak of a part of your music that sounds like another song.
So why is this similarity is a good thing? Well, it's simply because people can relate to your music and even more so, they will like the song and remember it. They fail to listen to your song because of familiarity. Familiarity Song invoke a pleasant feeling of emotion and most of the time they do not even know why they felt good hearing your melody. Therefore, your song can easily remember and continue to hum in people's heads.
Even if your auditors made parts of your song is somewhat similar to another song, and then not much, as a whole, the song is in your own original song with your own original lyrics, your own words and melody, and so it is your original song!
I must stress the point that you must not deliberately violate party rights someone's copyright. He is not ripping off other composer works. It is about creating your own melodies and songs that sound like a familiar melody.
So how can I write about familiar songs poll? Well, we will start by choosing a song you like and know and hum the tunes. Just the hum, but does not sing the lyrics Out. This will lead you to think "melodic" and soon you should be able to hum some variants of this air. Let your imagination take over and run around the melody as you imagined and let your Creative juices flow.
Once you mess with the air very well, and sing out loud and it becomes your own melody. It's really that simple.
Another way to do this is to choose a song that you do not even heard of before. Listen to this song once, then listen again. The second time when you listen to, sing with the song. Yes, you probably will not remember the air very well, but anyway, just sing it and when you make a melody of your own to the melodic structure of this obscure song.
Whatever method you've chosen to write a song with a somewhat familiar, you should feel good about it. It is your intuition the pleasant feeling that you know you've written a catchy melody original good that people will enjoy and remember.
