The alarm has an LED indicator that indicates the current state of POOL PROTECTOR.

In standby mode, through the automatic reset function, if the alarm detects the pool has not been used for a 100 seconds (if there are no waves), the system is automatically activated and the LED indicator blinks green.
Once you've finished swimming and there are no waves and the pool is calm POOL PROTECTOR is rearming. Only when the pool surface has stood flat at 100 seconds, the system is reactive and is armed again.
Installing the Pool Protector is very easy. It is located on the pool deck as shown in the picture. After installing the PROTECTOR pool, it can not be disabled. This is a great feature because it is always in the alarm ready mode and only you can put in a sleep mode. If someone who does not know how to put the pool alarm in sleep mode attempts to remove it, the alarm sounds. PROTECTOR pool comes with a remote receiver which can be mounted in your home up to 200 feet from the main unit. It comes with a power 12 volts. POOL PROTECTOR uses a 9 volt battery (not included) which should last about one year. There is a sound indicator of low battery, which sounds the alarm to the pool and the remote receiver.
This could be the best investment you ever made. Imagine what could happen if some of the neighborhood kids decide to go for a midnight swim at home. Without any notification something tragic could happen to leave you for the litigation of a criminal nature and civil. What if your own youth, who can not swim, is too close and accidentally falls in. Again, unless you are just the final result could be a tragedy.
