Harry Potter author JK Rowling
The series of fantasy novels on Harry Potter by a British children's author Rowling, JK, attained international fame when it depicts an imaginary character of a schoolboy Harry Potter. The series begins when 11 year-old orphan Harry discovers he is the son of wizards. The story centers on his adventures as a student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The series cover seven novels, following seven years of Harry at Hogwarts. The character ages one year in each book. The first novel in the series was published in the United Kingdom 1997: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The other six novels Harry Potter and the Chamber (1998) Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of (1999) Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of (2000) Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2003), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2005), and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007).
Joanne Kathleen Rowling was born July 31, 1965, in Chipping Sodbury, north of Bristol, England. She studied French at Exeter University, and taught English in Portugal for several years. Rowling said she had the idea for the characters while sitting on a train London in 1990. She finished the first novel while still a teacher unemployment in Edinburgh, Scotland.

There is still a danger after another, accompanied by his friends Ron and Hermione. In the motion picture versions, Daniel Radcliffe plays Harry, Emma Watson plays Hermione and Rupert Grint plays Ron. The adventures of Harry, Hermione and Ron are magical encounters with a flying car, ghosts, giants, giant spiders, magic spells, and classmates and professors hostile. All stories suspenseful mix humor and vivid descriptions.
