Angel Greg Iles
I need a new mystery/suspense author. Any suggestions?

I'm running out of things to read. Just to give you an idea ...I've read a lot of authors. Ones I like and read all the time: Jonathan Kellerman, John Sandford, Nelson DeMille, Agatha Christie, Greg Iles, Elizabeth George. I read Janet Evanovich for laughs. I read Sandra Brown, Nora Roberts and Judith McNaught for romantic suspense.

I like Laurie King, Josephine Tey, and Morag Joss. King's got 2 series; one set in the 1920's with Sherlock Holmes and his wife and one set in contemporary San Francisco with a female homicide detective. Both are excellent. Josephine Tey wrote in the 40's and 50's; her most famous books are Brat Farrar and The Daughter of Time, but the rest are very good also. Morag Joss has a short (hopefully growing) series set in contemporary Bath, England that is quite good, as well as a separate suspense novel that was very odd but enjoyable. Hope one of these hits the spot for you.
