Book Unabridged Mark
An audio book is a book you can listen instead of read. It is a recording of words spoken by one person instead of music or songs sung by someone. It may be a recorded version of a book or a program recorded spoken.
Earlier, we could find recorded spoken materials such as nursery rhymes, etc. mainly in libraries and schools, but not audio books. During the 1980s, the book publishers became interested in the publication of spoken word. The CD technology has brought revolution in the industry. Much information can be stored in a single CD and a book can be stored in a DVD. They can be played using ordinary CD or DVD players, and, now a day. Portable music players like the iPod, Zen player, Zune, etc. have helped downloadable audio books to reach common ground.
There are two main classes of audio books, full and abridged.
A word for word reading a book called a full audiobook and if the original content is edited, then it is called short. The Abridgment is the person who wrote the content. Abstracts are required for maintain time and lower cost.
The audiobooks can be created by recordings by artists trained voice. Software Summary Voice can also be used if necessary, but in these cases, the sound quality may not be at the mark.
Audio books are more expensive compared to the hardcover editions as a recording on a CD is expensive. Preloaded digital formats are also available, including audio is loaded into the single drive, in the same price as CDs. Downloadable audio books on the labor costs of other less because they have no storage, packing or transport.
Because of high production costs, audiobooks are not yet as popular as their counterparts hardcover or paperback, although music CDs and cassettes are very popular.
