Feynman Lectures Physics

A quick list of some of my own favorite of astronomers America. It is impossible and downright stupid to create a list of "best" astronomers because, really, what would the rankings be based? These three men helped shape and inform our current vision of the universe and what man is capable in the future.
01) Carl Sagan
Sagan I rank so high in my list, because personally, I found to be one of the most engaging, lucid and quite skeptical astronomers. Rewatching Sagan's TV series landmark, "Cosmos: A personal journey "you can see the sense of wonder that Sagan's our world and its ultimate beauty and mystery. You can see for free TV episodes Comos still often from time to time. Now Sagan is probably best known for the film adaptation of his novel "Contact" starring Jodi Foster and in my mind is still one of the most realistic representations of the foreign contact would actually be. Sagan was unique and will be unforgettable for everyone.
02) Stephen Hawking
More than a theoretical physicist, an astronomer, Hawking has nevertheless present some of the most brilliant theories and work on the subject of cosmology and Quantum Gravity, particularly in the field of black holes. Hawking prediction that black holes should emit radiation has been named after him, called Hawking radiation. His recent illness has not slowed down his writing and teaching with one of Hawking's most famous orators of the gravity and quantum physics.
03) Richard Feynman
One of the astronomers the most eccentric and interesting and physicists, Feynman could never be pinholed to a single topic was interesting, but in many different disciplines, from biology to art to Mayan hieroglyphics and the development of the atomic bomb. His is best known today to have been involved in the panel that investigated the Space Shuttle Challenger accident and for his work in introducing the concept remains highly relevant nanotechnology.
