I know this deck is real good, I just don't know if it's PTQ winnable good, it's gonna be my first PTQ. does anyone have any tips or suggestions about the deck or the PTQ? thanks

First of all, your deck is not too bad. It does suffer from a couple of things.

1) It doesn't seem to know what it wants to do. Is it a control deck? Is it an exalted deck? Is it a beatdown deck? While the ability to be many different things is a great idea, and does have some bit of merit, the inability to do any particular thing with any amount of certainty hurts this deck far more. I would suggest that you choose one or the other and go from there.

2) You lands will kill you. Period.Get rid of all those damaging lands. Replace them with some simpler lands, for instance Seaside Citadel and Bant Panorama and some more Forest, Plains, and Islands.

3) You are adding black in order to use 2 spells. Doran is alright, if you had a number of creatures with large toughness values. Tidehollow Sculler is so-so, but really doesn't serve a purpose in this deck. Pull those and all the black out and go with straight Bant, you will be happy you did so.

My main suggestions here would be to get rid of the black cards. They really don't serve a huge purpose. You can replace them with some other things without any problems. For instance, remove the Tidehollow Scullers and replace them with some Oblivion Rings. It will ease your mana issues while providing a somewhat more secure removal. It is much easier to get rid of the Tidehollow than the Ring.

Additionally, I would suggest that you look more into the Exalted and other boosting cards. Alara Reborn has added a great number of good cards to the mix. You can get a pretty large creature out in just a few turns. There are quite a few cards that you can add to your deck and/or sideboard that will give exalted and another ability. For instance, Finest Hour and Qasali Pridemage. There are really far too many different cards you can add that will allow you to control your opponent while at the same time creating a monstrous beast of a creature to destroy your enemy with.

I've done some testing of your deck as it stands against my PTQ exalted deck. Your deck only really shined once in five attempts, and only if it got out the right cards. Here is my deck (sans sideboard):

[Land]
5 Plains, 5 Island, 5 Forest
4 Seaside Citadel
[Creatures]
4 Qasali Pridemage
4 Noble Hierarch
3 MEddling Mage
3 Akrasan Squire
4 Giltspire Avenger
3 Ethercaste Knight
3 Aven Squire
[Spells]
3 Ardent Plea
3 Behemoth Sledge
2 Crystallization
3 Finest Hour
3 Oblivion Ring
3 Reborn Hope

One other thing to note is that these cards are all Shards of Alara Block cards, which means they will be good through the next set of expansions.
