Rich Dad Poor
What does the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" author means when he says "Moron mutual funds?
I have not read the book, but I listen its podcasts. I've heard use this term and I would like an idea of what it means to him and why.
While You should not blindly put your money in a mutual fund old - because there many out there who are not good investments - I would not take something Kiyosaki says too seriously because I think this man a fraud. The sad thing is though often enough, you have few choices in mutual funds investment when contributing to your employer's 401K plan. Educate yourself about the mutual fund before choosing one. I found a chapter in one of Jim Cramer Books (can not remember which - but not the later) to be very useful. I am not entirely agree Ric Edelman, but with one of his books gives a good explanation of mutual funds, how they work and what to look for when investing in one.
