Didn't Storm Shadow teach Snake Eyes?
Or did they just originate from the same clan?
They both originally served in the same Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol during the Vietnam War and they formed a very close bond. After the war, Storm Shadow returned to his family's home in Japan and studied how to become a ninja under his Uncle. Snake Eyes' family was killed and he joined Storm Shadow's clan. Snake Eye's also trained under Storm Shadow's uncle and eventually became superior to his good friend. One day an assassin (later revealed to be Zartan) killed Storm Shadow's uncle and Storm Shadow chased after him since he was the only one that saw it happen. Snake Eyes and the rest of the clan thought Storm Shadow was the killer while Storm Shadow blamed Snake Eyes for his uncle's death (I forget exactly why) creating a rift between them.
