Anyone remember 70's mystery film about girl, stuck in a blizzard and held captive in mansion by old lady ?
Does anyone know or remember a mystery/suspense movie from the 70's, maybe early 80's, about a girl or young lady who was traveling on foot in a blizzard who happens to stumble upon an old mansion that is occupied by an old woman who gladly takes her, only to hold her hostage ?
I saw this movie on T.V. 20 years ago, and i would love to know the name. I think i saw the movie on Turner films, TBS, USA, one of those channels.
At the time, the movie seemed at least 10 - 15 years old, and i saw this movie in 89 or 90. I think the old woman in the movie MIGHT be the young lady's aunt or great aunt, or grandmother. I can't remember. I also think that the young lady might have had a fiance' she was sending telegram's to, and her letters and telegrams were being thrown away by the old lady, who had her locked a room upstairs. There is a possibility that this young lady might be a teen, lol, i can't remember forgive me. If anyone has any ideas of what this might be, let me know. Thanks.
