Weight loss after a breast reduction?
I am a bit overweight and am contemplating a breast reduction because my back is always hurting. If I get reduced to a C and then lose weight will my breasts continue to get smaller or will they stay the same size as the reduction made them?
A good PS will ensure, even with weight loss after a reduction, that you will not lose much in the breast.
Breasts are NOT all fatty tissue, they are fat and glandular breast tissue, which can be very dense. I tried losing weight, and did not lose in the breast at all. So I got a reduction.
I am slowly working on losing weight and have not seen a change in breast size.
You may or may not lose in the breast, it depends on how much weight you plan on losing post op.
