You Are Christ
What would Jesus Christ have you do in this situation to show His love ?
Your next door neighbors are both female and a couple. They send you an invitation to their wedding, they are getting married to each other . How would you handle this situation as a follower of Christ ?

Very interesting question. The first thing I whould do in a situation like this is pray about it and ask for discernment. The Holy Spirit will guide us to do what is right. (John 14:26; 16:13)
As Christians, we are to be known by our love—which is a reflection of God’s love. We know that the Lord disciplines those He loves--in order to call them to repentance and righteousness. This is so that He can have an intimate relationship with us. (Hebrews 12:5-10) God’s love is a true love—a love that wants what is *very best* for us. God’s love is not a tolerant Love. He does not tolerate sin. For He is pure and holy and sin cannot come near Him.
With that in mind, I can't help but wonder what took place before the invitation was issued. Has the Christian already shared his/her belief of Jesus dying on the cross for sins with the neighbor ladies? Has the Christian lovingly told them that the Lord does not approve of their lifestyle?
Oh dear Brother, if a person's neighbors feel close enough to them to invite them to their wedding, any Christian who is truly *seeking* to do the Will God and putting the Lord first in their lives, would have already shared the wonderful gift of the Good News of Jesus! Or at the very least they would have invited them to church...
So, to answer your question, if I had already shared this, I am told to have nothing more to do with them. “Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11) Also: “Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14)
The sad fact remains that if I, as a Christian, decided to go to the wedding, it implicitly places a stamp of approval on this union that is (according to the Bible) a perversion cursed by God. (Romans 1:26-27 &32; Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13; Jude 1:7; Genesis 18 & 19.)
Thus, I would thank the couple for the invitation to attend the wedding, and if I hadn't already, I would take this opportunity to share the Good News with them. Then gently and in love I would decline the invitation. Let me emphasize, I would kindly decline--out of love and respect for them, their souls and what the Lord has called us as Christians to do: live in truth.
Dear Brother, your question points out to me that many times we as Christians do not take the opportunity to share the love of the Lord with our neighbors. This is so sad! We should always watch for and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. His timing is perfect.
We never know how the Lord will use our words and actions to speak to someone else. Years later, the couple could come back and thank us for speaking the truth to them--even if they are hurt and angry immediately after being told the truth. Many of us have had those we have witnessed to come back and thank us for our love and care after initially being attacked for our witness.
However, if we tolerate sin, history proves that it only gets worse. Tolerating sin is not of God. He calls us to be a holy people, set apart in righteousness as the Holy Spirit dwells in us and we live for Him.
